00:00 Well, it was a simply brilliant performance from Newcastle United today. A 5-1 win over
00:06 Aston Villa and in truth it really could have been more. First half got a fantastic start,
00:10 David Insider and Arlie getting the opening goal on his debut, you know, just six minutes
00:15 in after some good work by Anthony Gordon. That really set the tone then. Newcastle obviously
00:20 sort of on top and then all of a sudden Aston Villa equalised and won their first ten for
00:23 the game. You think, is this the way it's going to go? We saw that match in the summer
00:27 series 3-3 but after that, you know, about five, six minutes later Newcastle then re-took
00:31 the lead through Alexander Isakov. A bit of an offside call but that was rightly given
00:35 and then after that Newcastle, you know, just really dominated I think. Martínez could
00:40 have been sent off just before half-time. That was given us the yellow card. Controversial
00:44 lap when you think, is this going to be the turn of play? But Newcastle turned it on in
00:46 the second half. Three immense goals and it could have been a lot more. Callum Wilson
00:50 missed a chance but he did get himself in the score sheet. Harvey Barnes got himself
00:55 in the score sheet as well. So it was a fantastic run out for Newcastle and Eddie Halby very
01:01 impressed with us.
