00:00 Hi, I'm Fiona Devaney. I've had Hot Locks as a studio for 34 years and since they've
00:07 put the car park in it's causing nothing but a nightmare. Everyone's coming late for appointments
00:12 because they can't work the machine and I just do think it's affecting our trade.
00:16 So how long has this been an ongoing issue for yourself?
00:20 Since they've changed the machines it's just been a nightmare. It used to be free parking
00:24 for an hour, whereas now you've got to display a ticket and then I think it's £1 for three
00:29 hours. It's not letting them pay the pound for the three hours. So if they're here for
00:35 a colour, they're having to go out, move the cars, it's just causing mayhem.
00:40 And how much would you say has affected your trades throughout the week?
00:44 Well I can definitely tell that we're just not as busy.
00:47 Would you say if this continues, would you sort of have to be forced to re-evaluate?
00:52 Definitely. With all the other overheads that we've got, as in electric, it's just, you
00:59 know, it's finishing us off really.
01:01 And why do you think the council has implemented change when it wasn't a problem beforehand?
01:06 I have no idea. I have no idea. You'd have to go to them for that.
01:10 So what would you say to them if they were listening to this now?
01:13 Just to put it back to the way it was before.
