Gorgeous new family-friendly cafe/bookshop opens in Bispham

A cosy new cafe/bookshop has opened on Norbreck Road - and it's the  perfect place to take the kids over the summer holidays.  The child and dog-friendly space has a unique range of toys and books available to keep them entertained while you enjoy a fresh roasted coffee or lunch.  We take a look inside Larder and ask customers what they love about the new cafe.

00:04 class, something a bit like you can come and chat.

00:07 It's been quite informal and quite relaxed.

00:11 It's been more of a happy, sleepy club.

00:13 It's more like a co-working, kind of sociable place rather than like tea set tables.

00:19 It's a bit of a different layout than a traditional cafe.

00:23 We have people in the laptops, that's why we've got all the pub buckets along the wall

00:28 so that every people can come in and put their laptops in and get free wifi.

00:32 We've got a baby change, it's really important because we had a space for our family.

00:38 I love that there's so many different options of pastries, sandwiches, the coffees and just

00:44 the environment to be honest.

00:45 It's such a lovely place to sit and have a coffee with a friend and they're about three

00:48 minutes down the road so there's not many places like this in the area where you can

00:52 just come and have a coffee with a friend.

00:55 So for me, at the moment being pregnant, it's perfect to just come for a quick walk.

00:59 We do have Puppuccinos, which have been really popular.

01:03 People come in just for a Puppuccino with the dogs and offer it for a dog walk.

01:10 It's amazing that it's so lovely to visit the York rec.

01:15 The first impression's really fresh, lovely place and very, very friendly, especially
