00:00 >> Start a fall camp, what's that mean to you, to get out there and
00:02 start working again on the field with your brothers?
00:05 >> Back in, it's sort of like a job, so we're back at work.
00:08 Just knowing that we got third in until our first game is really exciting.
00:12 We're really excited about the first game, being on the first.
00:15 So being back in fall camp, we're back at work, we're on the ground.
00:19 >> Your group, it's been a rebuilt wide receiver room,
00:22 with very little vets coming back.
00:25 Had all spring, you've had all summer.
00:26 How would you describe the relationship, the togetherness that you guys have at
00:30 this point?
00:31 >> We do a lot of outside things together.
00:34 We spend a lot of time away from football.
00:35 So we take that time to gel with each other, learn everybody, the backgrounds.
00:39 Everybody come from a different background.
00:41 We got kids from St. Louis, Chicago, Georgia, Miami.
00:45 So everybody come from a different background.
00:46 So just taking the time to gel together is what makes us special.
00:50 >> Considering you have had all that spring and
00:52 that summer to kinda get comfortable with everything, get to know the system.
00:55 How comfortable are you heading into this fall camp?
00:59 >> I'm pretty comfortable.
01:00 We still adding new players in, so just sort of learning those players as well.
01:05 But I'm pretty comfortable in the offense right now.
01:07 >> You've only been here a short time, but in that time,
01:10 who do you think has made the biggest strides in that wide receiver room?
01:13 >> Probably Kevin Coleman, Jimmy Calloway, and Chris Bell as well.
01:22 Those guys are gonna help us win some games.
01:23 So those are probably the names that I'd probably say that may help us make
01:28 big strides in this offense.
01:29 >> You accomplished a lot at your last step, your first year at Louisville yet.
01:33 You're still getting a lot of attention.
01:35 Been preseason all ACC.
01:37 When you hear some of the hype that's around you and
01:39 what you might be able to accomplish in ACC, what goes through your mind?
01:42 >> I appreciate it all, but I try not to look into it because I don't wanna get
01:45 distracted, and all I can really do is just prove it.
01:48 I'm more of a guy, I like to prove it instead of just,
01:51 all the accolades are cool, but I like to prove it.
01:53 And my biggest thing right now, I just wanna win ACC championship.
01:56 So I'm not really focused on individual accolades or individual goals.
02:00 Like my main goal, the reason why I came here, I came to win.
02:03 So that's my biggest thing right now.
02:06 >> That's something that Coach Bromps talked about since he got here.
02:08 He was talking about building a program, but he wants to win now.
02:11 It seems like it's resonated throughout all your games.
02:13 >> And that's our biggest focus right now, is to win.
02:16 I feel like, and like you said about the offense,
02:18 I feel like we all just come together, everybody get on one court, we're gonna be fine.
02:21 >> Coach Bromps said he wants to win the ACC championship, and
02:23 he also wants to beat his rival.
02:25 How familiar are you with the rivalry between Louisville and Kentucky?
02:30 >> I'm not really known to it, but I've heard a lot.
02:34 I heard it's an actual, like a real rivalry.
02:36 So I'm really excited to go against Kentucky this year and
02:39 be a part of that tradition and that rivalry.
02:42 But yeah, our main focus right now is to win the ACC and to beat our rival.
02:47 >> Coming out of the Peach State,
02:48 do you know much about Georgia Tech going into this first game?
02:51 >> I know a little bit of them.
02:52 I know a little bit of them, because when I was in the transfer court,
02:55 they recruited me as well.
02:56 But I know they're a pretty solid team, and
02:58 I know they're gonna come to play on September 1st.
03:00 >> It's an ACC game right out of the gate, so obviously a lot of importance.
03:04 Is there an added emphasis to that, or are you paying attention,
03:06 hey, this is a league game?
03:07 >> Not necessarily, but like you said, it's a league game, so
03:12 we're gonna take it serious.
03:14 And that's gonna give us a jump on competition.
03:16 So heading into week one, we're just gonna take it one game at a time.
03:21 >> Do you have any certain goals or
03:23 like say X amount of yards you're setting yourself for the season?
03:26 >> I normally do that during fall camp, but I haven't right now.
03:29 Right now, my main goal is to help us win the ACC championship.
03:32 >> All right.
