Bridlington Sailing Coble Festival

Aboard Chris Traves Coble 'Imperialist' out of Bridlington Harbour on of the showcase 19 historic and heritage sailing craft during two periods of sailing in the beautiful Bridlington Bay on each day of the event. Visitors can see these traditional vessels moored alongside the Harbour Road. Various displays, stands and stalls were set-up in the Vessel Maintenance Facility, this annual event is a major maritime attraction on the East Yorkshire Coast. There is no-where a gathering of so many traditional sailing cobles can be seen, Bridlington is the sailing coble capital of Great Britain.
