Les élections générales du 26 août prochain promettent d'être âprement disputées sur l'ensemble du territoire national, particulièrement dans la ville de Port-Gentil, capitale de la province de l'Ogooué-Maritime. Ainsi, dans le cadre des législatives, le Rassemblement pour la Patrie et la Modernité (RPM) croisera le fer avec le Parti démocratique gabonais (PDG) pour s’assurer du contrôle de la ville.

00:11 Reputed to be a bastion since the 90s, the oil city has been under the scourge of the Mass Party for a few years.

00:19 Indeed, if it has kept its reputation of a front-runner during the presidential elections,

00:24 all of its legislative seats are occupied by the Gabonese Democratic Party.

00:30 It is in the context of this last scrutiny that things could be tough

00:34 between the MP of Barochambri and the CEO of Alibongo.

00:38 The fourth district at the center of all the attention,

00:41 is one of the districts of the municipality of Port-Gentil,

00:44 which will most attract the attention of all the observers of political life in the provincial capital.

00:50 Indeed, the CEO will be led by Mark Logan-Tiong'o to the legislative,

00:55 while the MP will be led by Nikesh Mudigoo and Kevin Mukadi.
