00:19 wearing it in public transport is now voluntary according to the Department of Transportation.
00:25 This is in line with the proclamation of President Bongbong Marcos that there is no longer a public health emergency in the Philippines.
00:32 In the jeeps earlier, there were passengers who were not wearing masks, but some were still not taking it off.
00:39 It's okay for me not to wear face masks because it's also dangerous.
00:42 For me, it's okay to wear face masks because of the noise and smoke.
00:47 It's also a bit defensive for us because we are already old.
00:50 But whether there is a limit or not, experts still recommend wearing face masks,
00:55 especially for those who are old, immunocompromised, and have comorbidities.

01:34 Health workers are calling for help, especially those who have not yet received their COVID benefits,
01:41 such as the health emergency allowance.
01:43 What our health care workers are afraid of is that they might forget.
01:48 In private hospitals, there are only a few benefits that are not fully provided.
01:55 I hope that the arrears of our COVID benefits will be given.
02:01 At the same time, I hope President Bongbong Marcos will focus on chronic understaffing,
02:07 the low wages of our health workers, and contractualization.
02:11 In a statement, the DOH said that it will pay the benefits.
