UN atomic energy chief visits Fukushima plant ahead of controversial water release

UN nuclear watchdog chief Rafael Grossi visits Japan's Fukushima nuclear plant ahead of the planned release of treated wastewater into the ocean. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) approved the discharge, stating it meets international standards.
