00:15 I'm gonna take you through the steps that it takes
00:17 to become a Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey clown.
00:20 The first step is to apply the white.
00:24 You start with the lightest color
00:25 and work your way down to the darkest color.
00:28 Apply your white, and then once you've applied your white,
00:30 you can take a sock filled with baby powder
00:33 to set the makeup.
00:34 Once the white is applied, you move on to the base.
00:37 Now, after you've applied a base,
00:40 now it's time to add all of the accent colors.
00:43 Me, I start with the red.
00:45 I put the red on to accent around my mouth and my eyes.
00:49 And then once the red is applied, I add the black.
00:52 The black is for my eyebrows and for my mouth,
00:55 just to accentuate the movement of my face
00:58 so people in the back row can see what I'm doing.
01:01 Once the makeup is completely on,
01:03 put the clown nose on your face.
01:04 Use a special adhesive to glue that right on your nose.
01:07 Now, the final touch is the wig.
