Starbucks ($SBUX@US) CEO Howard Schultz praised the coffee company’s new line of olive oil-infused coffee drinks in an interview with CNBC’s Jim Cramer on Tuesday, saying the drinks could disrupt the industry. The drinks will debut at the company’s 25 Italy locations on Wednesday and will come to the U.S. this spring, starting in California. Schultz expressed confidence that the “Oleato,” the Italian word for “with oil,” will be a “market-maker” and that it will be a “transformational moment” in the company’s history. The multinational coffee chain reported quarterly earnings on Thursday that missed analyst expectations. In China, the company’s second-largest market, a surge in COVID cases disrupted sales.
