Doing the box split while spinning four hula hoops at once seems like an impossible task, but it's not and Suschia Philipson (the subject of this video) has some tips to share regarding the same.

"These drills are going to help you to lay a foundation; they focus on strength and balance and will prepare you for the more advanced coordination drills later on," Suschia said. "I would highly recommend you do some general conditioning as a warm-up.

"Make sure your core and glutes are activated and ready to fire.
Do these drills on BOTH sides. A muscle imbalance in the pelvic muscle area can result in very painful nerve impingement.

"You can hold on to a chair or wall in the beginning, but challenge your balance in every training session. When you can do these drills without holding on to something and without cramping, you know you’re ready to move on."
