Setting off from Wigan Pier he will paddle 254 miles from Wigan to Brentford, London via the canal network, the challenge will take two-weeks long with 180 locks plus several tunnels to navigate, paddling 15-20 miles in 6-8 hours per day, raising funds for Cancer Research UK, Macmillan and Burney Breast Unit in St Helens.
