The owners of the event management firm who were arrested in the Mumbai drugs on cruise case and later given a clean chit said they were targeted and falsely implicated during the initial probe by the NCB.
In an exclusive interview with India Today, Namas’cray co-owners Sameer Sehgal and Gopal G Anand said the event on board the Cordelia cruise ship was not a drugs party and the contraband was seized by the NCB at the port. Namascray was not in control of security, they said.
Co-owner Sameer Sehgal said he was present when Aryan Khan was arrested, although the star kid had no contraband with him. Sehgal said he had walked up to then NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede and asked why Aryan Khan was placed under arrest despite not being in possession of drugs.
