Schools, colleges reopen in Udupi following Karnataka High Court’s verdict on hijab ban

Schools and colleges reopened in Udupi district of Karnataka on March 16 after the Karnataka High Court dismissed petitions challenging hijab ban in educational institutions. The HC said wearing hijab is not an essential religious practice of Islam.
