Prince Charles joined the CEOs of the world's biggest fashion brands in Rome to see the launch of a Digital ID for fashion items.
The Digital ID acts as virtual certificate to inform customers of the sustainability credentials of their purchases.
The Prince attended the event in the garden of the British Ambassador's Residence in Rome and met with the chair of the Sustainable Markets Initiative Fashion Taskforce Federico Marchetti, Brunello Cucinelli of Brunello Cucinelli, Thierry Andretta of Mulberry and Andrea Camerana of Armani.
It comes after the Prince of Wales launched the Sustainable Markets Initiative (SMI) alongside a 10-point action plan at Davos in January 2020.
