Bangladesh’s largest brothel persuaded to vaccinate

Sex workers association leader Jhumur Begum walks along the narrow lanes of the Bangladesh’s largest brothel every day, knocking on the doors of small shacks where sex workers live to persuade them to take a Covid-19 vaccine. Begum says sex workers prefer not to wear masks because “if clients cannot see their pretty faces, they won’t hire the girls. This is why mask usage is rare inside the brothel.”
