In a tragic disaster, a glacier broke in Dhauli Ganga valley in Uttarakhand today. Rescue teams rushed to the spot. 16 people have been rescued by the ITBP team. Union Leaders have expressed their solidarity with Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand CM has announced ₹4 lakh compensation for the family of those killed. Around 160 people worked at the NTPC and Rishiganga power plants, and atleast 125 are still missing. Sixteen people trapped in a tunnel at the Tapovan dam have been rescued by an ITBP team. Prime Minister Narendra Modi today targeted West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee at the rally today. At the end of Day 3 of the first test match between England and India, the hosting country only managed to get 257 runs for 6 wickets.
