Tino Orsini: British-Italian Actor, Director, Producer, and podcast host.
Tino was born in Capua, Italy on October 31st, 1070. He spent his early childhood in
Naples, but at 9 years old all his family moved to London. Later, his passion for
acting has started to unfold in school plays, where he was awarded the drama
award for his performances.
Later in his career, he trained at the prestigious conservatory of Stella Adler in Los
Angeles and a course at Drama Studio London.
His dedication to the arts started in many theatre productions both in the United
States and the UK, besides so has appeared in numerous feature films, short films,
commercials, still prints, narration, and voiceovers.
Furthermore, for the short film 'Panettone" which deals with the story of a lonely
homeless man on the streets of London trying to reconcile with his family, Tino was
awarded the 'Best Performance' award at the Il Film Festival.
However, his passion for radio and podcasts arise that makes him run for 100
episodes for the podcast called "The Tino Orsini Show" with guests including actors,
singers, artists, and many notable figures from the arts. Following this, he gets the
nomination for "Best Arts Podcast" at The British Podcast Awards.
His acting career touches many independent films as "Mona" directed by Nollywood
director Anthony Abuah who was awarded the grand jury prize at the Luxor Film
Festivals. Then, other accolades and in the post-apocalyptic film "After the World
Ended" directed by Tony Sebastian Ukpo. However, he started his own multi-media
company 'Don Minzone Productions, and resumed the show 'Filumena Marturano"
once was created by Eduardo De Filippo (a very well-known Italian playwright, actor,
director, screenwriter, and poet) to the London stage with good critical acclaim.
He has appeared at the world-famous Edinburgh Fringe Festival with the play
"Family Values" and as well as at the 'Cambridge Shakespeare Festival.
Currently, his latest work is in the Bollywood feature film 'Ghost' directed by the
legendary director Vikram Bhatt and as well as also Stefano Calvagna's upcoming
'Overcoming' with Marco Leonardi of 'Cinema Paradiso' fame.
He also had a guest spot on the popular TV series 'Berlin Station' working alongside
Richard Armitage and Rhys Ifans and is the narrator on the documentary "The War
on Whaling' on Amazon Prime Video.
