Hi Everyone.
Welcome to this edition of Spellbreak. So I don't play this game every day due to work. I can only play this game on weekends most of the time. So the progression of my skills won't be as fast as other streamers. So one way I compensate for that is the art of Slipping, Position, and Counter.
So while I was taking boxing, one of the best lessons I learned is that boxing is not a sport of just punching, it's a sport of positioning. A person with less skills can take on a more skilled boxer with just being better at positioning. I took this skill to heart when it comes to this game. When in a tight spot or losing a duel, I don't try to outduel my opponents hoping they'll slip up from constant pressure. I try to reposition and slip/weave around them. Making them miss (while using the environment) and looking for opportunities to counter attack. There's just something really satisfying about getting surprise exiles on opponents, making them think I'm on the run. When in reality, I'm just setting them up for a trap.
