WPC Claire Brind finds a girl who is suffering from an overdose, at the hospital DI Frank Burnside turns up and tells the doctor she is his god daughter. WPC Viv Martella arrives at the hospital with the wounded from a wedding party who have been fighting, the rest have been arrested. DI Burnside suspects his goddaughter. Tracy's boyfriend is responsible for her overdose. Burnside goes for the boyfriend in the interview room. Tracy dies and Frank has to break the news to her parents in Australia.
