For more information on how I restored my cast iron sink and to check out my other projects visit: https://oldmanstino.com/how-to-restore-a-cast-iron-sink/

In the bottom field of my family’s farm sat this cast iron sink. I remember kicking it over as a kid and seeing the bugs underneath, but other than that it was just junk to me.

Fast forward twenty years to my girlfriend telling me how much she needs a farmhouse sink, but after seeing the prices on new farmhouse sinks I decided to fix up that antique cast iron sink instead.

We've been using it as our kitchen sink for about a year now and the finish has held up pretty good. A few chips from pots and pans, but the actually cracks in the original porcelain finish that I filled in with the epoxy putty has held up 100 percent.
