Chen Jie is a tattoo artist in Beijing who inks traditional Chinese landscapes, still lifes, and figure paintings.

This style, which incorporates traditional Chinese aesthetics, is gaining popularity in China, where tattoos are still largely taboo.

In this video, she talks to us about how she got inspired, what makes inking them so much harder than regular tattoos, and why this style might help tattoos become more accepted in China.
