Clarence 'Frogman' Henry got his nickname due to his voice which had a trademark croak, especially utilised on his 1956 debut single "Ain't Got No Home." This signature voice accompanied by Frogman's good nature and talent flew him into a career which lasted over forty years in the Crescent City. From New Orleans, Henry's style was American rhythm and blues and he was a singer and a pianist.
