Amar Jawan Jyoti is located at India Gate and on 26th January (since 1950), a special ceremony is held here, in memory of those selfless war soldiers, who laid down their lives in WW II for the Country. There is a permanently lit fire known as Amar Jawan Jyoti (The Eternal Fame) at India Gate and this runs on gas, to prevent pollution.
