India News: : A sessions court on Friday convicted six persons, including the former wife and son of 'matka king' Suresh Bhagat for his 2008 murder. Bhagat had taken over the multicrore operations of the 'Kalyan matka' after his father Kalyanjibhai Bhagat died in 1994.Sessions judge S G Shete convicted Bhagat's former wife Jaya Chedda, son Hitesh Bhagat and the other accused Pravin Shetty alias Pappu, Harish Mandvikar alias Ganiga, Suhas Roge and Kiran Amle. Two others, Kiran Poojari and Azimuddin Shaikh, who had turned approvers, were granted pardon. The hearing for this case will take place today in Mumbai.
