The Sport concept of luxury center consoles was introduced almost 10 years ago as the S 280. The combination of seating, fishability and performance proved a successful mix for Pursuit setting the bar high for the introduction of future Sport series models.

The S 408 has raised the bar to new heights and set the stage for Pursuit’s growing series of center consoles. The layout is built around 3 specific exterior social zones, bow, helm and cockpit. The bonus interior features a convertible bed and a full stand up head with overnight amenities. The interior cabin features hardwood accents along with a teak and maple floor.

At the bow, a full length sunpad lounge with forward storage comes complete with arm rests, drink holders and storage at the foot. The port and starboard lounge seats convert with backrests. Install the Mediterranean sun shade plus center table and you can entertain all afternoon.

Move aft to the helm area and step into a three-wide seating arrangement with individual adjustments. The command center has a flush mounted electronics suite and mechanical and navigational controls positioned in all the right places. A port side sliding cabin door allows for an easy entry to the plush cabin.

Finishing in the cockpit, an industry first mezzanine-style seat with storage below provides seating to watch your spread after getting things lined up. Livewell, in-floor fishboxes, tackle storage and rod holders throughout allow you to fish a serious spread or live bait if you wish. After all the work is done, take advantage of the aft entertainment center complete with freezer.

The Pursuit S 408 rigged with triple Yamaha 425 XTOs delivers a 54 MPH top end and an easy 30 MPH cruise with more than 300 miles of range. You can easily roll it up a few RPMs to get close to that 40 MPH mark and still come close to 300 miles. The styling, performance and features introduced in the S 408 translate well to a complete line of Sport models from 28-40 feet in length.
