Sultan Muhammad V has resigned from his post as the 15th Yang di-Pertuan Agong.

Comptroller of the Royal Household Datuk Wan Ahmad Dahlan Ab Aziz said in a statement issued on Sunday that the King’s resignation was in line with Article 32(3) of the Federal Constitution.

This came after a week of speculation over his resignation following his holiday at the end of 2018.
