The Lamborghini SC18 Alston could be their maddest supercar yet! It's a bespoke customer commission, based on the Aventador SVJ with bodywork and aerodynamics created with Squadra Corse, the racing division within Lamborghini. With 770hp from the 6.5l V12, and the most dramatic looks of any car that wears a number plate from the inspiration of the Huracan GT3 EVO and Super Trofeo EVO racecars, it's certainly one of a kind.

Up to this point, Lamborghini have not held back from creating special project vehicles in limited runs, for example the likes of the Reventon, Veneno, Sesto Elemento and Centenario, but aside from the Aventador J (which was original intended to be kept internally) they haven't ventured into the realms of creating bespoke vehicles for individual customers. This makes the start of those possibilities from the Italian supercar manufacturer and no doubt will only be the first of many as they look to create them going forward.

In this case it boasts the same technical elements as the Aventador J, from the engine with 770PS and 720nm, to the 4 wheel drive system with 4 wheel steering, plus the Ego configurable driving mode. Visually however, albeit of course the same proportions, the bodywork is entirely different and significantly more wild in appearance. It is angular, aggressive and purposeful with a style that only Lamborghini can quite pull off. Offering this opportunity to the customer to be able to work directly with Centro Stile and develop a car must be incredibly exciting, and no doubt will feast us with many more creations in the future.

Thanks for watching, Tim
