Sesame Street writer, Mark Saltzman, confirmed in an interview with Queerty that Bert and Ernie are more than friends.
Uproxx reports, Saltzman said when he was writing Bert and Ernie, he always felt like they were lovers.
Saltzman’s partner and “love of my life” was film editor Arnold “Arnie” Glassman, who passed away in 2003.
