Villagers in India travelled for miles after news spread that a baby had been born with four legs and two sets of genitalia.
Footage captured on September 16 in the city of Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, shows the newborn wailing as a crowd of people stares in awe.
The locals have hailed the birth of the child as a "miracle of God."
His rare condition appears to be the result of a parasitic twin, in which part of a conjoined twin which never fully developed in the womb remains attached to the baby.
The boy's parents, Rambha and Bulhan, were shocked when he was born.
The child is expected to live but will be transferred to Lucknow for an operation.
