A woman trapped between two rocks on a beach near Rottingdean in Sussex yesterday evening (September 2) was rescued by emergency services.
The elderly woman, who according to local reports was screaming in pain as she was stuck from the waist down between two large rocks, managed to eventually get the attention of locals.
Video shortly after 6pm last night shows emergency services on the scene.
Her ordeal that lasted up to an hour and a half, local media said. It ended when the East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service and the South East Coast Ambulance Service managed to free her.
The woman was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in neighbouring Brighton, local media said.
