A woman in the Philippines treated this relaxed-looking monkey to a loving head massage.
The clip, filmed at the end of May on the island of Mindanao in the southern Philippines, shows the monkey with her eyes closed and looking like she is in bliss as she gets stroked by filmer Alexis Medran.
The monkey, named Sophia, appears to be a Philippine long-tailed macaque.
“My relatives keep this monkey as a pet. Since their place is near forests, locals from that place catch them and sell them to people.
“My Auntie accidentally saw those locals selling these monkeys and bought it from them (because) she had pity for the monkey, being in a cage looking like they are hungry and afraid.
"The monkey is Sophia, she is really aloof from people and even my auntie can't touch nor go near her. But a miracle happened on that day when she let me touch and even massage her."
