Bollywood stars don’t think twice before doing such scenes in films, but when it comes to talking about it, the stars are quite uncomfortable, but there are few bold ones who opened up about what goes on…ahem…in their mind while doing such scenes and how do they do it too. Read on to know what actors have to say about shooting for intimate scenes in front of the camera.

John Abraham

John Abraham is wary of locking lips with his Welcome Back co-star, Shruti Haasan with whom he is teaming up for the first time. A fresh jodi takes time to develop a comfort level. John did not want any kissing or steamy scenes so the makers have settled for a romantic song. Ah well, the actor who was ready to go bottoms up in Dostana, has now turned into a sober family man.

Mallika Sherawat

Mallika Sherawat has spoken up about her intimate scenes with Om Puri in their upcoming film, Dirty Politics. As he is a very senior actor, it was very difficult for her to do the scenes with him. She however also confessed that he made her very comfortable by being extremely professional about the entire shoot. Umm! Good going, Mr. Puri!

Manasvi Mamgai

Manasvi Mamgai, who made her Bollywood debut with a cameo in Action Jackson, claims that Ajay Devgn was emotionless while filming the erotic scenes. Eek! The actor was focused on the role and emotionless during those erotic scenes. At the end of it, he was impressed by my vamp skills.

Scarlett Johansson

Scarlett Johansson feels that filming intimate scenes is a liberating experience. However, she does agree that it is challenging too. According to her, "You have to be totally without judgement, and you have to stay in the moment." Though the actress has an enviable physique to flaunt, she considers her body to be average.

Raveena Tandon

Raveena Tandon's sexy siren act in 'Tip tip barsa' was sensuous in its appeal. But the actress maintains that she hadn't done anything scandalous when she was at the peak of her career and wouldn't attempt to do any now as well. She would be grateful if her scenes aren't chopped off on the editing table.

Bipasha Basu

Bipasha Basu has always been lauded for her bold roles, which she essays with utmost ease onscreen. But apparently Bips Darling prefers to be left ALONE while doing intimate scenes. How? While, she was shooting for a rather intimate scene for ‘Alone’ with co-actor Karan Singh Grover at Mehboob Studios, she asked everyone to leave the sets.

Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor grabbed attention with their affair and later with their break-up. However, Dippy Baby isn't uncomfortable with her ex-flame and claims that performing with Ranbir is okay. She thinks the fact that they are comfortable with each other whether it's romantic scenes, angry scenes, action scenes or intimate scenes.

Pooja Chopra

Pooja Chopra, who entered Bollywood with Vidyut Jamwal starrer ‘Commando - A One Man’ Army confessed her shyness when it comes to doing…ahem…scenes on the 70mm screen. The model turned actress speaks straight from the heart and objects to following the trends blindly and claims.

Manish Paul

Manish Paul, who entered Bollywood with Mickey Virus indulged in an intimate scene in the movie. When asked about any inhibitions as an actor, he confessed that he doesn’t have any inhibitions and is very comfortable taking off his shirt in the movie too.
Sonal Chauhan

Sonal Chauhan, who was seen in the Bollywood film ‘3G’ spoke about her initial inhibitions for doing intimate and bikini scenes. Initially, she was hesitant to kiss or wear a bikini onscreen. She asked too many things before doing anything. Later, she was convinced then only she shed her inhibitions.

Poonam Pandey

You don’t to have to tell her to strip! One of her costars got nervous when they shot for intimate scenes in Nasha. When it comes to her, she enjoys shooting for all the scenes. While talking about it, she thinks it’s her work and if she won't do scenes with comfort, they won't look good on-screen. Sounds right!
