UPPER DIR: Heavy snowfall in Upper Dir has blocked many roads and power supply has also been disconnected to several areas.
The local people said the snowfall is continuing in Upper Dir for the last three days due to which the routes leading to Ashiri Darra, Kamrat, Lowari Top, Kohistan and Barawal Nahgar areas are blocked. Four feet snowfall has been recorded in these areas. The people said power supply is also disconnected in these areas due to which they are facing many difficulties. People have been confined to their homes due to extreme cold weather.
