The Lab NYC is Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective's weekly afterwork party where we stream the best American and international DJs from the intimate space connected to our Brooklyn office. This Friday, Mixmag is excited to present Amine Edge & DANCE as the second performance of a special Lab double-decker.
Amine Edge & DANCE first stepped onto the scene as the initiators of the G-House movement, a powerful and fresh fusion of hip-hop and house music. The two were friends for 15 years before deciding to collaborate and went on to become top talents in the dance music realm. After running the G-House game for many years and starting their own label CUFF, the pair decided to take a break from their signature genre. The France hailing producers now concentrate more on house music, but the talent, energy and raw funk of their sound is still at an undeniable high.
