11-year-old Indonesian fan Shaina Salvia interviews Helmut Dähne, whose 42-year career began in motocross and went on to include 15 German championship titles, victory (alongside team-mate Hans Otto Butenut) in the 1976 1000cc Production TT at the Isle of Man, third in the World Endurance championship and setting the all-time motorcycle lap record at the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit, in 1993.
"I like to ride, I don’t want to go around in circles like these modern race tracks all are. They are fun for a while but really the big fun is at the Nürburgring with hundreds of curves, uphill, downhill… That's what I really enjoy."
