A disgruntled Pittsburgh Steelers fan lit his James Harrison jersey on fire on December 26, after hearing that Harrison, a free agent who was released by the Steelers, had signed with the New England Patriots.James Harrison, 39, has played the majority of his NFL career with the Pittsburgh Steelers, where he won two champsionships and was selected for the Pro Bowl five times. He retired in 2013 but came out of retirement and returned to the Steelers shortly thereafter. Harrison has also played for the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, and the Rhein Fire of NFL Europe.Harrison released a statement on his Instagram account, citing playing time as one of the major reasons why he asked to be released. “If anybody thought I signed a two year deal with a team in the NFL at age 39 to sit on the bench and collect a check and a participation trophy, they’re mistaken.” Credit: Twitter/@shawnfnj via Storyful
