Super Lightweight Irvis Crampon From Petzl

This weeks Pick of the Week is the new Petzl Irvis Hybrid, an innovative crampon for ski touring and moderate climbs, designed to be as light as possible while still being technical. Right; let’s talk about the obvious oddity with this crampon. Instead of having a metal middle section, the crampon uses what looks like string to connect the toe and heel sections.
