Baby Hippo Spotted Hitching a Ride, Dismounting for Underwater Acrobatics

The Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden’s baby Nile hippo, Fiona, was spotted on Wednesday, November 8, playfully riding on her mother Bibi’s back before dismounting, showing off her underwater acrobatic skills.Fiona was born in January at 29 pounds, which is about 30 pounds lighter than the normal weight for a baby hippo.
