A fan video of LOVELESS poem, from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, recited by the English voice or of Genesis Rhapsodos, Oliver Quinn. I just made this video to show my admiration for this game. I dont own the rights of this game. The rights of this game are of Square-Enix. \r

POEM:\r
\r
Prologue:\r
\r
When the war of the beasts brings about the worlds end\r
The goddess descends from the sky\r
Wings of light and dark spread afar\r
She guides us to bliss, her gift everlasting\r
\r
Act I \r
\r
Infinite in mystery is the gift of the goddess\r
We seek it thus, and take to the sky\r
Ripples form on the waters surface\r
The wandering soul knows no rest.\r
\r
Act II \r
\r
There is no hate, only joy\r
For you are beloved by the goddess\r
Hero of the dawn, Healer of worlds\r
Dreams of the morrow hath the shattered soul\r
Pride is lost\r
Wings stripped away, the end is nigh\r
\r
Act İ \r
\r
My friend, do you fly away now?\r
To a world that abhors you and I?\r
All that awaits you is a somber morrow\r
No matter where the winds may blow\r
My friend, your desire\r
Is the bringer of life, the gift of the goddess\r
Even if the morrow is barren of promises\r
Nothing shall forestall my return\r
\r
Act IV \r
\r
My friend, the fates are cruel\r
There are no dreams, no honor remains\r
The arrow has left the bow of the goddess\r
My soul, corrupted by vengeance\r
Hath endured torment, to find the end of the journey\r
In my own salvation\r
And your eternal slumber\r
Legend shall speak\r
Of sacrifice at worlds end\r
The wind sails over the waters surface\r
Quietly, but surely\r
\r
Act V \r
\r
Even if the morrow is barren of promises\r
Nothing shall forestall my return\r
To become the dew that quenches the land\r
To spare the sands, the seas, the skies\r
I offer thee this silent sacrifice\r

INTERPRETATION:\r
\r
Prologue:\r
\r
When the war of the beasts brings about the worlds end\r
The goddess descends from the sky\r
Wings of light and dark spread afar\r
She guides us to bliss, her gift everlasting\r
\r
Act I:\r
\r
The infinite mystery\r
The gift of the goddess is what the three men seek\r
We are disquieted by our ions\r
But their fates are scattered by war\r
\r
One becomes a hero, one wanders the land\r
And the last is taken prisoner\r
\r
But the three are still bound by a solemn oath\r
To seek the answer, once again\r
\r
Act II:\r
\r
Though the prisoner escapes, he is gravely wounded\r
His life is saved, however\r
By a woman of the opposing nation\r
\r
He begins a life of seclusion with her\r
Which seems to hold the promise of eternal bliss\r
\r
But as happiness grows, so does guilt\r
Of not fulfilling the oath to his friends\r
\r
Act İ:\r
\r
As the war sends the world hurtling towards destruction\r
The prisoner departs from his newfound love\r
And embarks on a new journey\r
\r
He is guided by hope that the gift will bring bliss\r
And the oath he swore to his friends\r
\r
Though no oath is shared between the lovers\r
In their hearts they know they will meet again\r
\r
Act IV:\r
\r
The prisoner meets the friend who wandered. The wanderer is dying and the world is ending. he is furious that the prisoner gave up on their quest to pursue love while he remains loveless. The wanderer knows that in order to end it one of them must die. And so he initiates a fight to the death. The prisoner is unable to kill his old friend, and allows himself to be killed. \r
\r
Act V:\r
\r
The prisoners sacrifice was the gift of the goddess, and its realization saved the world. The prisoner never returned to his lover, rendering her LOVELESS, the namesake of the poem. She was not alone however for her lover died and saved the world, and she would have him as long as she lived in the world. And so the prisoners sacrifice saved the world and his love. \r
\r
\r
P.S: I know this will be probably useless, but I gotta try:\r
Square-Enix, please make a remake of Final Fantasy VII for Playstation 3. Thanks!\r
