WBC/IBF female super middleweight fighter Claressa Shields recently handed Nikki Adler her first defeat in a round five TKO. She called into Sway In The Morning and discussed the fight, respect, and dating.

The 22-year-old explains that she’s hoping to give women’s boxing the recognition it deserves, following her second gold medal, and being the first female boxer to fight on premium cable. This was her third fight this year—which isn’t regular for most professional level fighters—but Shield’s was used to fighting five games a week from her amateur days.
