The BMX Supercross World Cup Series is the leading international BMX series, sanctioned by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI). Events are held at numerous locations throughout the year and each race offers valuable ranking points to the riders. The BMX Supercross is contested on a 350 metre circuit as an octet of riders launch themselves from an eight-metre high ramp and race over a track alternating between bumps, banked corners and flat sections.
