Lil Wayne distanced himself from the 'Black Lives Matter' movement by declaring that the anti-racism and social justice campaign has nothing to do with him whatsoever.
"I don't feel connected to a damn thing that ain't got nothing to do with me," the rapper, 33, told journalist Linsey Davis on ABC's "Nightline" on Tuesday.
Lil Wayne has issued an apology over his remarks, according to TMZ.
He told the site, “When the reporter began asking me questions about my daughter being labeled a b***h and a hoe, I got agitated.
From there, there was no thought put into her questions and my responses.”
