Matilda Alien Cat

Matilda is a pussy cat of 2-year-old that has eyes issue that make them look bigger and give her an alien look. The cat was born on Valentine day in 2013 to be adopted by its master at around 12-week-old. At the time there was no issue with its eyes. It is around 1-year-old that the first symptoms appeared when the right pupil of the animal was abnormally dilated. Its masters brought it to several veterinary doctors that have failed at understanding the cause of the issue. One of them thought it was a cat leukemia that is usually deadly but happily it was not the cause.

They then called the refuge where they got Matilda from and learned that an eye infection was at the origin of the issue when it was still baby. After many weeks Matilda's eyes became really big.

A veterinary doctor diagnosed that Matilda was behaving normally and did not feel any particular pain cause to the condition. Moreover, he certified that is was not a glaucoma as thought Matilda's owners. It could however be genetically related.

An operation could be carried out however the success of such would be uncertain. One of its siblings that had the same issue was operated with no positive outcome...

The owners created a GoFundMeDu page to gather money in order to cope with potential future operations in case they can be assured that it would be successful.
