When you’re looking for a healthy breakfast, clearly you turn first to McDonald’s, and now they’ll have a new option, breakfast bowls!

Certain Southern California McDonald’s will be testing their 2 new breakfast bowls, the Turkey Sausage Bowl and the Chorizo Bowl. Both are currently being sold for $3.99. The 250 calorie Turkey Sausage Bowl has turkey sausage, cheddar jack cheese, egg whites, kale, spinach, and bruschetta. The 540 calorie Chorizo Bowl has chorizo and egg on a hash brown topped with cheddar jack cheese and pico de gallo. No word on if they're looking to make these breakfast options available all day or if they're just meant for mornings!

In South Korea McDonalds is bringing out a new fried chicken sandwich, the Ricotta Cheese Shanghai Burger. It’s meant to celebrate the taste of Italy while simultaneously tying into the upcoming Olympics in Brazil. We don’t get it either.

Have you tried either of McDonald’s Breakfast Bowls? What’s your favorite McDonald’s breakfast item? Why does South Korea call a chicken sandwich a burger? Have you tried the Ricotta Cheese Shanghai Burger? What does the taste of Italy have to do with the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil?
