Learn how to make Paneer Pulao from our chef Archana on Ruchkar Mejwani. Paneer (Cottage Cheese) Pulao is a popular simple vegetarian rice recipe that is best for beginners!
Ingredients:
300 gms Rice
200 gms Paneer (Cottage Cheese)
4-5 tbsp Oil
1 tbsp Cumin Seeds
10-12 Curry Leaves
1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
1 tbsp Black Pepper
1 Onion, cut length wise
1 Capsicum, cut length wise
1 Lemon
Coriander Leaves
Salt to taste
Method:
- In a pan heat some oil.
- Add cumin seeds, curry leaves, ginger garlic paste, chopped onion, chopped capsicum, coriander leaves, lemon juice, black pepper & salt. Mix everything well.
- Cover it with a lid and let everything cook for 5 minutes.
- Add the paneer cubes & boiled rice. Mix well.
- Again cover it with a lid and let it steam for 10 minutes.
- Garnish the Paneer Pulao with coriander leaves & serve with Dal Fry or Curry.
