Government Makes A Settlement Offer To Vodafone In The 20,000 Cr Tax Case

It seems like a win-win for both government & Vodafone in the 20,000 Cr tax spat as the government has offered a settlement deal to the telecom major and asked them to pay just the principle tax of Rs 8,000 Cr. The offer will now be discussed by Vodafone's board of directors & the company will also seek its shareholders' approval before taking a final call.
