Stunning drone footage has emerged of a cargo ship being launched into a shipping canal and flooding an adjacent road with the resulting cascade of water.
The video, captured last month in Groningen, Netherlands, shows the 'M.V. Greenland' - built for transporting cement - plunging into the water for the first time.
The force of entry causes a torrent of water to inundate a street, near to where an assembled group of onlookers are stood.
