The Jamaican guitarist Junior Marvin made a substantial contribution in the work of Bob Marley between 1977 and 1981, the year of the death of the most famous Jamaican artist in history. He was part of all the albums of Bob Marley from the period, starting with the fundamental “Exodus” and ending with “Uprising” and participated in the worldwide tours which cemented the legend of Bob. Junior emigrated to London as a child and was a worldwide child star on the guitar, after an apprenticeship period in the USA together with Ike & Tina Turner and the legendary bluesman Bone Walker. After the death of Bob, he continued to play with the Wailers for years, alongside Aston Barrett, and more recently in the Original Wailers, with the guitarist Al Anderson. At Rototom Junior will pay tribute to the immortal music of Bob Marley with his own band.
