00:02:24From Starco, a division of General Structures Incorporated.
00:02:35Good morning. Can I help you?
00:03:01Yes, we are looking for the rental agent. We have an appointment.
00:03:06I'll just give him a little buzz.
00:03:27Did you ever use that?
00:03:29Yes. No, never had it out of the holster.
00:03:32A rival company has them, so we got to have them.
00:03:34It's just an advertising gimmick.
00:03:51Starliner Terrace coming.
00:04:05Welcome to Starliner Terrace.
00:04:07And you are?
00:04:11Yes, Mr. and Mrs. Sweden.
00:04:13Sorry to keep you waiting.
00:04:15Now, are we talking about one or two bedrooms?
00:04:18We're talking about bachelors, eh?
00:04:47Now, Brenda, you take a look at this one.
00:05:16And tell me if that doesn't suit you right down to the ground.
00:05:46I'm sorry.
00:06:15I'm sorry.
00:06:45Did you say something, Nick?
00:06:55No.
00:06:58Breakfast is just about ready.
00:07:27Breakfast.
00:07:56Can I call you at the office?
00:08:06What do you want to call me at the office for?
00:08:08I don't know.
00:08:11I just thought I might like to call you.
00:08:15I'm not going to be at the office except to sign in.
00:08:19Well, what claims to check out?
00:08:50I'm not going to be at the office except to sign in.
00:08:52I'm not going to be at the office except to sign in.
00:09:21I'm not going to be at the office except to sign in.
00:09:28We're going up.
00:09:30Oh.
00:09:31Well, I'll just take a little ride.
00:09:35As I was saying, we have quite an exciting variety of completely furnished apartments ready and waiting.
00:09:42You could almost move in this afternoon if you wanted.
00:09:59Notice how the entranceway is too long.
00:10:28Oh.
00:10:40Annabelle, it's Nick.
00:10:43You in the bedroom?
00:11:10It's probably nothing at all.
00:11:12Actually, it's probably some form of fatty cyst or something like that that could easily be removed at a doctor's office.
00:11:18Has Nick seen a doctor?
00:11:22He hates doctors.
00:11:23Doctors and lawyers.
00:11:25He never goes to doctors.
00:11:27Look.
00:11:28Why don't you do this?
00:11:29Why don't you go down to the clinic and see that nice doctor.
00:11:31What's his name?
00:11:32St. Luke?
00:11:33Mm-hmm.
00:11:34Go down to the clinic and explain to him that Nick is very ill and he has to stay in bed and ask him to come and see him.
00:11:41And then when he's there, they can fight it out between them.
00:11:45He'll be really mad.
00:11:47Well, so what?
00:11:48You can relax.
00:11:49You'll find out what's wrong with him.
00:11:51And let him be the uptight one for a change, really.
00:11:54It's just ridiculous.
00:11:57Okay.
00:11:59Horrible.
00:12:24Nicholas.
00:12:26I didn't expect you in today.
00:12:28I've been telling everyone to call back tomorrow.
00:12:36It was Dr. Hobbs who paid the rent on the apartment.
00:12:40Actually, it was her name that appeared on the residency list and on the intercom board.
00:12:46Annabelle Brown.
00:12:49Very civilized young lady and never complained about anything.
00:12:53That was her.
00:12:54Annabelle Brown.
00:12:56That was Annabelle.
00:12:57Yeah.
00:12:58This was the man who called you up here?
00:13:00Yes, the Dr. Roger St. Luke.
00:13:03He's the director of our little medical clinic here.
00:13:08Medical clinic?
00:13:10Yes.
00:13:11We're on an island, you see.
00:13:12We have to be as self-supporting as possible.
00:13:16Okay.
00:13:17Well, let's have a talk to the doctor.
00:13:20Dr. Samu.
00:13:23Dr. Samu.
00:13:30Dr. Samu.
00:13:31Detective Sergeant Allen on the side.
00:13:33I'd like to ask you a few questions.
00:13:35Yeah.
00:13:36You're the one who found the bodies.
00:13:37Yes.
00:13:38Did you touch anything or move anything before we arrived?
00:13:41Well, I removed some surgical tape from Annabelle's lips.
00:13:45I examined the inside of her mouth.
00:13:47I gave the tape to the detective, the other man over there with the canvas bag.
00:13:51Yeah.
00:13:52I looked at the abdominal wound very quickly.
00:13:53Yes.
00:13:54Well, the department will be getting back to you about that.
00:13:57Now, you knew these people.
00:14:00Well, I knew the man, Emil Hobbs.
00:14:02He was a doctor and professor at the university.
00:14:04I saw the girl around the building.
00:14:06I didn't know her.
00:14:07She never came into the clinic.
00:14:09So you came to visit this man, Hobbs, and you found him like that?
00:14:13No, I haven't seen Dr. Hobbs since medical school.
00:14:18You see, he taught me.
00:14:19He was my professor at the university.
00:14:21Urology, venereology.
00:14:23He also conducted some seminars in psychopharmacology.
00:14:26That's about it.
00:14:28I never really had any idea he ever set foot in these stolen territories until today.
00:14:32So what brought you up here?
00:14:34Well, he called me at 6 o'clock this morning.
00:14:37Hobbs called me.
00:14:39I thought I was dreaming, you know.
00:14:40I hadn't heard that voice in so long.
00:14:42He said, meet me in apartment 1511.
00:14:46At noon, we go out for lunch.
00:14:48It's time before they do your education.
00:14:49That's it.
00:14:50How does he sound?
00:14:51Depressed?
00:14:52Nervous?
00:14:53No, he's fine.
00:14:581511.
00:15:02No, no, you've got the wrong man.
00:15:03Just a moment, please.
00:15:05Dr. St. Luke, it's for you.
00:15:07Someone wanting to know why you didn't turn up for lunch.
00:15:10Actually, I know it's not the kind of lunch that Hobbs had in mind for us,
00:15:13but it's all I got.
00:15:15Isn't it beautiful?
00:15:17Hmm?
00:15:18This was Hobbs' and my project.
00:15:20See, what we're trying to find was an alternative to organ transplant.
00:15:27Am I keeping you up?
00:15:29No.
00:15:30You're bored, right?
00:15:31To you, organ transplant is just yesterday's kiss-kiss, right?
00:15:34Look, you've got man, right?
00:15:37And you've got parasites that live in, on, and around me, right?
00:15:43So, why not breed a parasite that can do something useful?
00:15:50Huh?
00:15:51A parasite that can take over the function of a human organ.
00:15:55For example, you breed a parasite, you implant it,
00:16:00and it hooks into the circulatory system,
00:16:02and it filters the blood just like a kidney does.
00:16:06And so it takes a little blood for itself once in a while.
00:16:08Why do you care?
00:16:09I mean, you've got enough, you can afford to be generous.
00:16:11Huh?
00:16:13Are you following me?
00:16:14Oh, no, I am, I am.
00:16:15Look, St., listen, look.
00:16:16You've got a guy with a bad kidney, right?
00:16:18Now, you put the bug in him.
00:16:19The bug goes to work on the kidney, dissolves it,
00:16:22goes back to work on the kidney,
00:16:23dissolves it,
00:16:24dissolves it,
00:16:25dissolves it,
00:16:26dissolves it,
00:16:27goes back to work on the kidney,
00:16:28dissolves it,
00:16:29the other body assimilates it.
00:16:30Now, what have you got?
00:16:31You've got a perfectly good parasite,
00:16:33where you used to have a rotten kidney.
00:16:35Huh?
00:16:36I know what you're going to say.
00:16:37You're going to say it's crazy.
00:16:39Actually, I was going to ask you if you had any mustard in it.
00:16:42Come on.
00:16:43Come on, Rog, really.
00:16:44I know.
00:16:45What do you think?
00:16:46I think it's crazy.
00:16:47It's crazy.
00:16:48But who cares?
00:16:50I mean, look.
00:16:52Hobbes was a lousy teacher.
00:16:54I mean, we've got to face the facts of life.
00:16:55He was a lousy teacher.
00:16:56He was dull, academic, just plain lousy.
00:16:58But he had a genius for one thing.
00:17:01That was getting grants.
00:17:04Where he could raise money for crazy projects.
00:17:06For example, who do you suppose is paying the rent on this place?
00:17:10Not you.
00:17:11No?
00:17:12The Northern Hemisphere Organ Transplant Society.
00:17:15And that's for something that's supposed to put them out of business.
00:17:18Here.
00:17:19Not you.
00:17:20Here is a partial list.
00:17:24A partial list of some of the other research projects that we are underwriting.
00:17:30But with their money.
00:17:31Smart?
00:17:36Ashen and Gaunt Insurance Appraisals.
00:17:39Mr. Tudor?
00:17:42One moment, please.
00:17:43I'll buzz him.
00:17:55Nicholas?
00:17:56There's a call for you.
00:18:02Nicholas, it's that man whose Lamborghini caught fire on St. Catherine.
00:18:06He's very angry.
00:18:11Nicholas?
00:18:13What's wrong?
00:18:15I don't know.
00:18:16I don't know.
00:18:17I don't know.
00:18:18I don't know.
00:18:19I don't know.
00:18:20I don't know.
00:18:21I don't know.
00:18:22Nicholas?
00:18:23What's wrong?
00:18:32We're going to get you to a hospital.
00:18:34It's probably a null, sir.
00:18:36I'm going home for the day.
00:18:38I'm all right, Mona.
00:18:40Call me a cab.
00:18:43Now.
00:18:44All right, Nicholas.
00:18:48All right.
00:18:52All right.
00:18:59How did Hobbs know this girl?
00:19:01Who is she?
00:19:02What is she?
00:19:03Some chick he met while he was lecturing at a girls' school.
00:19:07You know what happened?
00:19:09They caught him examining her titties for breast cancer.
00:19:13In the faculty lounge.
00:19:16She was 12 years old.
00:19:19Don't talk about crazy.
00:19:22He used to bring her up here once in a while.
00:19:26I'll never understand how he could do what he did to her.
00:19:36Well, I think I'm going to have to go back.
00:19:41But the store's been great.
00:19:44Seeing you.
00:19:46All right.
00:19:48Do you remember what I just talked to you about?
00:19:50About joining us?
00:19:52Sure.
00:19:53Deal.
00:19:54See you.
00:19:55Keep it.
00:19:56All right.
00:19:58Hey, how about the pickle?
00:20:04It's used.
00:20:19Good afternoon, Mr. Tudor.
00:20:25Yes, that the aging process is in any way reversible.
00:20:28I don't think for a moment that it is.
00:20:30But it might be stoppable.
00:20:32And that's where megavitamins come in.
00:20:34Mrs. Tudor, we're up.
00:20:35You ready now?
00:20:36Yeah.
00:20:37Excuse me, Brad.
00:20:38I've got to go.
00:20:39Oh, sure.
00:20:40I'll be with you in a minute.
00:20:41All right.
00:20:42All right.
00:20:44I've got to go.
00:20:45Oh, sure.
00:20:46I'll be with you in a minute.
00:20:47Right.
00:20:48All right.
00:21:13You know, I don't see any change in this company report I did on your husband last year.
00:21:27I see a few too many Escargots, a little too many crepes with vanilla ice cream and strawberries
00:21:33and a dash of Grand Marnier, but I don't see any chance of any cancer developing as fast
00:21:38as you described it to me.
00:21:41I think it might be some swollen gland or something.
00:21:43It's hard to say.
00:21:45Well, can you come up and take a look at him?
00:21:48That's what I'm here for.
00:21:50I don't think I can do it until about 9, 30, 10 o'clock.
00:21:54Is that okay?
00:21:55Oh, that's terrific.
00:21:56Not too late, huh?
00:21:57No, that's fine.
00:21:58Oh, thank you so much, Doctor.
00:21:59Don't worry about it.
00:22:00Okay.
00:22:04Are Mrs. Immenthal's ready, Doctor?
00:22:06Well, tell Mrs. Immenthal I'll be right with her.
00:22:08Will you?
00:22:11Okay.
00:23:42And I think this is a good view.
00:23:46See how beautiful the grass is now?
00:23:48Yes.
00:23:49Isn't it?
00:23:54I take a walk nearly every day.
00:23:57Oh, this is a very good...
00:24:03Oh!
00:24:04Oh!
00:24:05Oh!
00:24:06Good heavens!
00:24:07Look!
00:24:09Poor birdie.
00:24:11Oh, poor birdie.
00:24:14Why?
00:24:15They're always crashing into tall buildings.
00:24:18The windows fool them, you know.
00:24:20Oh, come along, Ollie.
00:24:22It's such a shame.
00:24:23Such a shame.
00:24:24Come along, dear.
00:24:25Oh, oh, oh.
00:24:26The poor little bird.
00:24:30Not so yet.
00:24:31Because it may be only hurt.
00:24:33Oh, don't be silly, dear.
00:24:35It's in heaven now, whatever it is.
00:24:38Now, come along.
00:24:39I'll get you tucked in the bed before the color TV.
00:24:43You'll know what a rest is.
00:24:51And Pradler seemed to think that the megabitamin therapy
00:24:54is the answer to the question of aging.
00:24:56That's not to suggest that the aging process
00:24:58is in any way reversible.
00:25:00Can I write for you now, Brad?
00:25:01I don't think for a minute...
00:25:03Oh, okay.
00:25:08Now, you just take your shirt off,
00:25:10and the doctor will be in to see you in a minute, okay?
00:25:13You don't have to go.
00:25:14I'm not shy.
00:25:15Now, don't be a tease, Brad.
00:25:17I'm still working, you know.
00:25:19Yes, I know.
00:25:37Water running
00:25:38Water running
00:25:39Water running
00:25:40Water running
00:25:41Water running
00:25:42Water running
00:25:43Water running
00:25:44Water running

00:26:26Water running
00:26:33Water running
00:26:35How are you, sweetie?
00:26:45You're doing good, ain't you?
00:26:56How are you, sweetie?
00:26:58You're doing good, ain't you?
00:26:59Let's put your feet up.
00:27:03I think you have a problem.
00:27:10Ow!
00:27:11Better take it easy.
00:27:12There's a lot of pressure in there.
00:27:18Do you want me to breathe deeply?
00:27:21Just breathe normally.
00:27:27Good shape for an old man, eh?
00:27:29Oh, yeah.
00:27:31Better than me, my man, better than me.
00:27:37As far as I understand that you got these lumps from a young lady, is that right?
00:27:42I mean, what makes you think that?
00:27:43Well, she had some just like them, right here near her belly button.
00:27:48You could push them around, too.
00:27:51I was kind of sexy myself.
00:27:54She lived in the Starliner Tower?
00:27:56Yeah, in 1511.
00:27:59The name Annabelle Brown?
00:28:01Yeah, that's the one.
00:28:06Okay, I'll tell you what.
00:28:10Put your clothes on.
00:28:13I'm going to send you to the hospital.
00:28:15Take a few x-rays.
00:28:16I want you to open this paper and you can run here with the ambulance.
00:28:22Are you going to cut me open?
00:28:23No, I don't want you to even think that way.
00:28:26I don't think there's any problem going at all.
00:28:45Hi.
00:29:01Hi.
00:29:03Hi.
00:29:05Want a drink?
00:29:06Oh, no thanks.
00:29:07I just wanted to tell you that Dr. St. Luke is going to come and see Nick about Dan.
00:29:11Oh, that's terrific.
00:29:14Is he nice to you?
00:29:15Mm-hmm.
00:29:16Great.
00:29:19Well, after you found out that there's nothing that a vacation won't cure,
00:29:22why don't you come and join me for dinner?
00:29:25Everything from Felipe's.
00:29:28I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
00:29:29Why don't you come and join me?
00:29:30I loathe to eat alone.
00:29:32It makes me feel so fat and lonely.
00:29:35I always order for two.
00:29:37Okay.
00:30:08Nick?
00:30:10Are you home?
00:30:34Come on, sweetheart.
00:30:35We'll get you into bed.

00:31:11Go to bed!
00:31:12Just go to sleep!
00:31:13I am going to join you boys and girls.
00:31:24Nick?
00:31:29Let me out! Let me out!
00:31:59Let me out!
00:32:29Out!
00:32:45C'mon boy. Here boy.
00:32:50C'mon boy.
00:32:56C'mon fella.
00:32:59You and me are going to be good friends, good friends, attaboy, attaboy, attaboy, attaboy,
00:33:27attaboy.
00:33:39Did you call me?
00:33:42Did you say something?
00:33:58How are you feeling?
00:34:06Does your stomach hurt?
00:34:12Can I feel those lumps on your tongue?
00:34:14Go away.
00:34:19Leave me alone.
00:34:27Why won't you let me help you?
00:34:57Leave me alone.
00:35:17The time is seven o'clock.
00:35:20This is John Woodhouse with Mediascope News, Sports and Weather.
00:35:24A bizarre murder-suicide has Montreal police baffled today,
00:35:28as they attempt to untangle events leading to the discovery of two bodies
00:35:32in the Starliner Island apartment complex early this afternoon.
00:35:37The body of a 68-year-old retired professor of medicine
00:35:40was found lying in a pool of blood by an unidentified former student.
00:35:45The professor apparently committed suicide by cutting his throat with a scalpel
00:35:50after performing an as-yet-unexplained operation on a 19-year-old woman.
00:35:55The woman's nude body was found lying on the dining room table, badly mutilated.
00:36:01Police are not releasing any names, pending notification of next of kin.
00:36:06On the labor front, talk of an impending steelworker strike
00:36:09has sent full officials on the defensive.
00:36:12Spokesmen for the Steelworkers Union are asking for a 20% increase.
00:36:18A government official says negotiations with the union will continue
00:36:22until a settlement is reached.
00:36:24Olympic construction has been suspended for two weeks.
00:36:38I've got those things you asked for.
00:36:40Those files on Horsfield, Velikovsky, Swinburg, and Brown.
00:36:46And those papers published by Hobbs, Lipsky, and Lopez.
00:36:50And those are from the American Journal of Psychiatry.
00:36:54Yes, this is the Hobbs paper.
00:36:56And as an extra, these are some things that were compiled before your time here.
00:37:01I thought they might be of interest to you.
00:37:05And now, how about a kiss?
00:37:10Hey, how about a kiss?
00:37:12Sure.
00:37:13Oh, that's the best thing I heard all day. How about another kiss?
00:37:19Listen, do we have some more people on the list?
00:37:21No, no. The body's in there.
00:37:24Yes.
00:37:25Rod? Me, Ravel.
00:37:27Ravel.
00:37:28Interesting you should call.
00:37:30I was just looking over this material you did with Hobbs.
00:37:34It's interesting.
00:37:36Well, it's very flattering, but I don't think you'll find much real meat out of it.
00:37:39No, I'll come.
00:37:40Well, you know, I always thought Hobbs was funny, but I told you that before.
00:37:44I just never knew how funny until now.
00:37:47See, when he kicked off, they sent over his personal notes and stuff.
00:37:51After all, I'm his partner, right?
00:37:53Anyhow, I've been going through his papers, and what it adds up to is this.
00:37:57Hobbs was shafting us all.
00:37:59Me, the university, the foundations, the council, everybody.
00:38:03I don't quite get it.
00:38:05Here. Hobbs believed that man is an animal that thinks too much.
00:38:10An over-rational animal that's lost touch with its body and its instincts.
00:38:14How do you like that?
00:38:15In other words, too much brain and outlive guts.
00:38:18So what he came up with to help our guts along was a parasite that's...
00:38:22Here. A combination of aphrodisiac and venereal disease
00:38:27that will hopefully turn the world into one beautiful, mindless orgy.
00:38:31Well, I think it sounds a little crazy to me.
00:38:35Yeah.
00:38:36Look, the important thing to you, Rog, is this.
00:38:39You know Annabelle?
00:38:40Well, he was using her as a guinea pig.
00:38:43Guinea pig?
00:38:44Right. Now, he implanted her with a parasite,
00:38:46and once it took over, well, apparently she went preserved.
00:38:49I guess Hobbs wasn't ready for that, so I guess he just had to kill her.
00:38:54What was the point?
00:38:55Well, the point was that...
00:38:57Well, he wasn't trying to burn her.
00:38:59He wasn't?
00:39:00No.
00:39:01He was trying to burn the things, all of them.
00:39:05Yeah, well, he didn't make it.
00:39:07What?
00:39:08Maybe Hobbs didn't know it,
00:39:10but Annabelle Brown was a pretty popular girl around Starliner Towers.
00:39:13They've got three men here, maybe four,
00:39:15hosting large, free-moving, apparently pathogenic abdominal growths
00:39:19that nobody I've tried can identify.
00:39:22Hey, listen, I'd like to come over and take a look at those guys.
00:39:26Well, why don't you?
00:39:29I'm going to meet one of them soon,
00:39:32a fellow by the name of Tudor.
00:39:34It's on the directory there.
00:39:37You can just meet me up at the apartment.
00:39:40Yeah, look, I'll be right over.
00:39:42Listen, Rog, I don't want to panic you or anything,
00:39:46but the way Hobbs designed those things,
00:39:50they get out of hand pretty fast, so you've got to be careful.
00:39:53I mean, before you even have a chance to know what's happening to you.
00:39:56Once they start pumping that juice into the old bloodstream,
00:39:58well, I don't know.
00:40:00The point is, if you see anybody doing anything compulsive,
00:40:03I mean, any kind of, you know, bizarre sexual thing,
00:40:06well, the ones we can get at are a lot of things we can use.
00:40:10Maybe we could start with a kind of a basic tropical kit
00:40:13and work up from there.
00:40:15I'll bring a bagful over, but the point is,
00:40:17you've got to get at them, and fast.
00:40:26All right.
00:41:27Help!
00:41:30Help!
00:41:32Help!
00:41:34Help!
00:41:47Listen, I want to stay.
00:41:49I've got to meet Rollo at the two-door apartment.
00:41:51You know, it's going to be pretty late.
00:41:53Oh, well, why don't you come up to my place for something to eat when you're finished?
00:41:57No, I'll tell you, it's going to be very, very late.
00:41:59Well, it doesn't matter to me how late it is.
00:42:01I'll keep it warm.
00:42:03Say, is anything wrong?
00:42:05I mean, with the Hobbs thing.
00:42:07Yeah.
00:42:09Good, nothing we can't handle.
00:42:11Well, how about supper at my place?
00:42:13Okay, but late.
00:42:15Okay, see you later.
00:42:23See you later.
00:42:53Delivery for 416 from Felipe's Restaurant.
00:43:23Delivery for 416 from Felipe's Restaurant.
00:43:54I'm hungry.
00:44:00I'm hungry for love.
00:44:04I'm hungry for love!
00:44:23I'm hungry for love!
00:44:53Okay.
00:45:06Okay.
00:45:16Pretty good.
00:45:24It's lovely.
00:45:39Yes?
00:45:41Can I help you?
00:45:43Yes.
00:45:45You can help me.
00:45:47Oh.
00:45:49Wait a minute!
00:45:52Wait a minute!
00:46:05No.
00:46:15Would you...
00:46:21No.
00:46:47What? What's wrong? What's wrong?
00:46:49This man, I think I recognize him.
00:46:51I think he lives in the apartment house.
00:46:53He just attacked me.
00:46:55But no, he isn't at all.
00:46:57I opened the door, I was fixing your dinner,
00:46:59and he just grabbed me and he just tried to kiss me.
00:47:01Where is he now?
00:47:03I don't know. I think I killed him.
00:47:05I stabbed him with something and he fell.
00:47:07All right, I'll tell you what you need to do.
00:47:09Just stay here and I'll go up and check it out, all right?
00:47:11Just stay here.
00:47:13No, no, no, I'm not going to stay here by myself.
00:47:15I'm going to go with you.
00:47:17I'll be right back.
00:47:47I'll be right back.
00:48:17I'll be right back.
00:48:47I'm sorry.
00:48:49I didn't mean to startle you.
00:48:51I just couldn't let your dinner burn.
00:49:05But it's strange.
00:49:07Just look on this.
00:49:09I can't resist.
00:49:11Oh, come on.
00:49:13You can't let this happen.
00:49:15You can't let this...
00:49:17What are you doing?
00:49:21Get off! Get off!
00:49:25Get off!
00:49:27Get off!
00:49:29Get off!
00:49:31Get away from me!
00:49:40Yes, Gunther.
00:49:42How many times do I have to tell you yes?
00:49:44Considering what it cost...
00:49:53Sometimes, Gunther, I wonder if I should try to get along on my own and not owe you anything.
00:49:57Oh, don't be that way.
00:49:59You're always helping me, Gunther, but you don't miss the chance to remind me.
00:50:03All right.
00:50:11All right, now, what I want you to do is I want you to describe to me that old taxi at the door, you see?
00:50:16And maybe you'll know who he is or where he lives and so forth.
00:50:19Okay.
00:50:21That's it. How do you feel?
00:50:23Okay, okay.
00:50:33Hey, doctor, doctor, please help us.
00:50:36Well, please pardon me. I am Maurice Gilbert. I am a resident here.
00:50:40I don't know. We were walking in the hallway, and there is my wife.
00:50:43She was attacked by this thing.
00:50:45Where is this thing? Where is it?
00:50:46I hate it. I hate it.
00:50:48Then I turn it on the cane, done, shoot it, done to the garbage.
00:50:54All right, now, this is a nurse. This is Nurse Forsythe.
00:50:57She is a nurse. She is a nurse.
00:51:00All right, now, you take them back to their apartment.
00:51:02Treat her for second-degree burns. We'll have to do it for now.
00:51:04What is your number? What is the number of your apartment?
00:51:07Oh, yes, we live at 703.
00:51:10703, yes.
00:51:13Okay, I'll meet you back there. Don't leave until I get there.
00:51:16Lock the door. Don't let anyone in except me, okay?
00:51:18Okay, well, where are you going?
00:51:20Down to the garden.
00:51:30Okay.
00:51:50No, dear, it's not our floor.
00:52:00It's not our floor.
00:52:30It's not our floor.
00:52:43Janine?
00:52:52Janine?
00:53:01Yes? Are you up?
00:53:08Hello, darling.
00:53:10I feel wonderful.
00:53:13Come here. Come and join me on the bed.
00:53:21You're absolutely beautiful.
00:53:24Your eyes.
00:53:26Your mouth.
00:53:29Your mouth.
00:53:35You're absolutely the most sexy thing alive.
00:53:40Do you want to make love?
00:53:43You're so strange.
00:53:46You will make love to me, won't you, Janine?
00:53:50You're my wife.
00:53:53You started it.
00:53:55I think I've forgotten how to...
00:53:58I think I can't take this.
00:54:00Janine.
00:54:16I'm beautiful.
00:54:19Come here.
00:54:26Make love to me, Janine.
00:54:28You're my wife.
00:54:55I love you.
00:55:25Come here.
00:55:56No!
00:56:09No, no, no.
00:56:11Please. Stop.
00:56:17Make love to me.
00:56:19Make love to me.
00:56:21I want to be able to see us when we make love.
00:56:23I want to put my contacts in, okay? Is that okay?
00:56:26Nick, I'm going to go in the bathroom and put my contacts in.
00:56:54Nick.
00:57:02Nick, I'm here.
00:57:23I'm home.
00:57:53No.
00:58:23I'm home.
00:58:53I'm home.
00:59:23I'm home.
00:59:39Come on.
00:59:45Faster.
00:59:53Come on.
01:00:24I love you.
01:00:27I'm going to call the police.
01:00:30She's calling the police.
01:00:33She's calling the police.
01:00:47Hey, miss.
01:00:49Come back.
01:00:51She needs something.
01:00:55Roger.
01:01:02Roger.
01:01:10Roger.
01:01:13Roger.
01:01:16Where are you?
01:01:18Roger.
01:01:21Roger.
01:01:44Doctor, you look awful. What happened?
01:01:46Never mind. Never mind. Never mind how awful.
01:01:49What do you want me to do?
01:01:51I want you to call the police.
01:01:53All right, you got that?
01:01:55Call them and tell them the head of the medical center needs help.
01:01:57But the police...
01:01:59Just listen to me.
01:02:01Tell them I need help and to make it fast. Right away, all right?
01:02:03Fine. It's okay.
01:02:06Yes? Who is there?
01:02:08I'm just going...
01:02:10Who is this?
01:02:12Oh, yes.
01:02:14But the nurse, she went away.
01:02:16I think she went to look for you, Doctor.
01:02:18Stay where we are.
01:02:20Stay where you are?
01:02:22Yes. Okay, okay.
01:02:24Goodbye.
01:02:37Why don't you speak?
01:02:43Now, come on.

01:05:18Who's there?
01:05:31Pull along. I'll try to crash through the door.
01:05:48Pull along.
01:05:50Pull along.
01:06:16Dr. Tinkler?
01:06:21Oh, here he is.
01:06:23Evening, Mr. Wilkinson.
01:06:40Mr. Merrick, why don't you do something about all that noise?
01:06:43I mean, we like parties, but this is ridiculous.
01:06:45There might be a connection.
01:06:47You see, it's...
01:06:49It's about your locker.
01:06:51I'm afraid somebody broke into it earlier in the evening.
01:06:54Oh, what a drag.
01:06:56Are you serious?
01:06:57I'm afraid so.
01:06:59Look, I have some of the things that they were throwing around in my office,
01:07:02and if you'd care to come and identify them...
01:07:19Come on.
01:07:31Come on, let's get out of here.
01:07:33I don't know.

01:08:28Janine.
01:08:30Janine.
01:08:33You know what I want?
01:08:38I want you to make love with me.
01:08:41Make love to me, Janine.
01:08:43Make love to me, make love to me.

01:08:54Let's kiss, let's kiss and make up.
01:08:56Make love to me, Janine.
01:08:58Make love to me, make love to me, make love to me.
01:09:01Let's kiss, kiss and make up.
01:09:15Make love to me, Janine.
01:09:45Make love to me, Janine.
01:10:15Rollo.
01:10:31Rollo and the police will be here soon.
01:10:34We have to avoid these people until they find us.
01:10:38Until we find them.
01:10:45Until we find them.
01:11:15I love you.
01:11:39Dr. St. Luc?
01:11:42Dr. St. Luc?
01:11:45Roger?
01:11:49Is Dr. Linsky here?
01:12:05Roger, Rallo here to have that consultation we talked about.
01:12:11Roger?
01:12:15Hey, Rog?
01:12:19Mr. Tudor?
01:12:30Mr. Tudor, I'm Dr. Linsky.
01:12:39Mr. Tudor?
01:12:45Mr. Tudor?

01:14:40Roger, I had a very disturbing dream last night.
01:14:44In this dream, I found myself making love to a strange man.
01:14:53Only I'm having trouble, you see, because...
01:14:57He's old.
01:14:59And dying.
01:15:02And he smells bad, and I find him repulsive.
01:15:09But then he tells me that...
01:15:12Everything is erotic.
01:15:15That everything is sexual.
01:15:18You know what I mean?
01:15:23He tells me that even old flesh is erotic flesh.
01:15:29That disease is the love of two alien kinds of creatures for each other.
01:15:36That even dying is an act of eroticism.
01:15:44That talking is sexual.
01:15:48That breathing is sexual.
01:15:51That even to physically exist is sexual.
01:15:56And I believe him.
01:15:59And we make love beautifully.
01:16:25I love you.
01:16:55I love you.
